I was in Gracias, Honduras - a tiny, charming country town. I'd hitchhiked there from the Guatemalan border. I'd found a little farm which allows people to camp on it's grounds for a few dollars and so I stayed there for a couple of nights. Each morning I used a long stick to knock star-fruit out of the trees for breakfast.
On my second day there I learned there was a huge country festival in the next town over, about an hour away. I tried to hitch-hike there but after half-an-hour on the side of the road I gave up trying... and besides, it was getting really dark and grey and threatening to rain.
Next to me, on the roadside, was a colorful cemetery, hidden behind high gates. The gates weren't locked in any serious manner so went in and explored. Here are some of the photos.
